The Breeder's Choice Award for Open Heifer's was claimed by SHF Heiress 707, a January 17, 2007 daughter of TC Freedom 104. Shady Hill Farms, Dusty Martin of Blue Earth, Minnesota was the winning consigner. Steel Land & Cattle, Anita, IA & Nathan Mass, Malvern, IA, purchased this heifer for $2,800.

Cannon Valley Ranch, Bruce Waugh and Family of Goodhue, Minnesota received the Breeder's Choice Award for Bred Heifers/cow. CVR Moriah 6217 is a February 10, 2006 daughter of Connealy Lead On with a bull calf, by HSAF Bando 1961. Bussmus Angus, Mitchell, South Dakota purchased the pair for $5,400.
